Kyogle Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to operate out of Grove House (8 Geneva Street, Kyogle) for the purpose of delivering integrated social and community support services to residents within the Kyogle LGA. This initiative aims to strengthen community wellbeing by improving access to essential services, supporting vulnerable families and individuals, and fostering inclusive, connected communities.
The purpose of this EOI is to identify a business or not-for-profit organisation, that can use the premises to deliver holistic and accessible community services that meet the needs of our local community.
Applicants should demonstrate their capacity to deliver some or all of the following services, either directly or through partnerships:
Family and Individual Support
Family support services
Housing assistance, including help with housing applications
Domestic and family violence support and referral pathways
Support workers providing outreach across the LGA
Access and Inclusion Services
Assistance with accessing Centrelink and Medicare services
NDIS support coordination and navigation
Early Years and Family Programs
Parenting groups
Facilitated playgroups
Youth Services
Youth mentoring programs
Support for youth to participate in social, cultural and recreational activities
First Nations/ Aboriginal community support
Reconciliation-focused initiatives and activities that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and communities.
The successful applicant will be offered:
Subsidised use of a Council-owned building located at Grove House, 8 Geneva Street, Kyogle
Suitable spaces for client consultations, group programs, and community activities
Access arrangements to be negotiated (e.g. business hours, shared use, etc.)
Set up of the space including fit-out responsibilities, and maintenance expectations will be outlined in a formal agreement with the successful applicant.
